Day 01
|
KATHMANDU - GONGAR - TSEDANG: Fly in from Kathmandu to Gongar Airport (3,500m) and enjoy the 120 km guided drive to Tsedang (3,500m). Overnight at hotel. |
Day 02
|
TSEDANG - LHASA: Sight seeing tour of Yumbu Lagang - the first Tibetan king's palace, and Trandruk Monastery in the morning. Drive Tsedang to Lhasa later. Visit Samye Monastery - the first monastery in the history, built in the form of Mandala On the way. Overnight at hotel in Lhasa. |
Day 03 |
LHASA: Guided tour to Drepung Monastery - the largest one in Tibet in the morning. Visit the Jokhang Temple - the final destination of Tibetan pilgrims in the afternoon. The old Barkhor bazzar is around the temple, which is regarded as the most important transmigration way. |
Day 04 |
LHASA: Full day to explore Lhasa including visits to the massive Potala Palace, Norbulingka- Summer Palace of the Dalai Lama and others. |
Day 05 |
LHASA- GONKAR - KATHMANDU: Transfer to the airport early in the morning and fly back to Kathmandu. |
